If you are interested in participating in MetaMusic as a musicians, please state your:

    -instrument/s
    -ability
-time (that you are willing to spend)

Auditions are unneeded but helpful. No one will be cut or left out though, regardless of ability.

    -Synths and editing
-Pretty ranged ability. I'd say I'm pretty good
-As much time as it takes

I only use garageband for editing and making my tracks, but I still do a fine job if I do say so myself. I'm going to find out where I can post my tracks and show you what I can do.

-I have 4 years of experience but I'm still not (very) good
-My school holidays are coming up, so I can spend a fair bit of time.

    - Acoustic Guitar and Recorder
    - I'm noobish at Guitar but I'm kinda good at recorder.
    - Depends.

I'm going to a school to finally learn bass.

I might do some samples of how I can play later.

    - Violin or Viola, whichever is needed
    - Started learning violin 12 years ago, switched to viola about 5 years ago because our high school viola section sucked. (Plus, violas just sound a hell of a lot better.) I still play regularly in our college's non-major orchestra, so I'm pretty decent.
    - University starts in six weeks, and, ironically, that's when I'll be free. (15 credit hours, of which 8 are actual work!)

Both actually, we're desperate for strings. I may write classical piece soon, if so you can sign up in the Music Forum.

Ah. We have much in common.

    -Synths and editing
-I don't know whether I'm good or not, but people like my music.
-I have as much time as possible, but I also have MoA.

I also am thinking of upgrading my GarageBand with my next paycheck, (I freelance, I don't have a job, sadly, and I guess that's good) so maybe there's some way I can share the expansions?

Yes, Strings are much needed for a classical. I hope we get some woodwinds soon.

I've been playing clarinet for 3 months. I'm part of my school's concert band and taking lessons as well, so when school starts again in three weeks I will initiate phase Rapid Improvement.

Been playing piano for about 7 years now. Grade 4.

Holidays start today That's three weeks for you to use and abuse me of free time.

Well...this isn't a single project, its more like a group that plays and records over a long period of time. I hope you have more that 3 weeks...if not arrangements could be made to get at least one piece in.

I think Mae meant 3 weeks of 24/7 I asked Mae about that and Mae said that Mae has time out of that 3 weeks as well. Don't worry.

I play the Harp and Trumpet, as well as singing from time to time (Tenor).

I'm a reasonably good player. Probably not the best trumpeter on here, but perhaps close to one of the best singers, and almost certainly the best harp player (I think I'm the only one :D).

I don't have any examples currently, but I'll hopefully be uploading some soon.

    Piano with medium proficiency.
Synthesizers, primarily trackers (ModPlug is my favorite). I'm currently learning Cubase.
I sing bass on a choir. My ability into tenor and above is very limited.

I have plenty of time during the summer, and I can make time during the school year.

Musician Sign-up Thread Empty SQUIBBLES! :D

Post  squibbles Sun Jun 28, 2009 10:18 am

    Yo, I'm here.

Instrument: Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar (Steel String), Acoustic Guitar (Nylon String), Vocals (Basso-Profondo (after much discussion, my choirmaster and I decided my voice cannot hit my lowest notes loud enough to be considered an oktavist ;.;))

Ability: I am quite good at guitar, and a fantastic vocalist. To date, I have been accepted into 4/4 singing groups that require auditions, with the least amount of auditioners for one of them being 12 people. I might not have the best voice, but I'd be (very) surprised if it wasn't the deepest.

Time: I write and play normally, Music is what I want to do for a job, so I have no limit to time, short of work/school. Next year, no school, so I'll just be able even more!

I play tuba to grade 7 standard (highest is grade 8 over here in the UK), so I'm pretty good.

    I play electric guitar.
I've been playing for about eight months now.
I'd be able to dedicate a fair amount of time, until sometime around winter, then it'll vary.
